Preparing for shows can be stressful. You have to juggle lots of moving pieces to make sure you’re prepared for the event. ⁣
⁣
🔹 One part of the show prep that can be forgotten is your GAME PLAN.  I’m su 𝐁𝐋𝐎𝐆 𝐏𝐎𝐒𝐓‼️⁣
⁣

🔹 Speaking of strong, if you’re looking for some tips or ideas on how to dial in your nutrition so you ca 𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐋 𝐁𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐃𝐒‼️⁣
⁣
🔹 These types of jumps really challenge riders to absorb multiplanar forces on one leg. ⁣
⁣
🔹 Being able to produce power and absorb forces bilaterally will allow to you improve your ability to balance in stirrups, 𝐒.𝐀.𝐈.𝐃.‼️⁣
⁣
🔹 There are so many types of exercises out there that it can be confusing for riders on selecting which ones help the most. ⁣
⁣
🔹 I get asked which type of cardio is best for riders or which exercise is the most specific for ridin 𝐒𝐏𝐋𝐈𝐓 𝐒𝐐𝐔𝐀𝐓 𝐉𝐔𝐌𝐏𝐒‼️⁣⁣
⁣⁣
🔹 This jump right here uses a staggered stance position to improve your power production and work on hip stability. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
🔹 I like using this exercise with riders who need to be more aware about how their hip 𝐏𝐋𝐘𝐎𝐒‼️⁣
⁣
At first sight, Plyometrics may not seem “sports specific” to equestrians. When you take a closer look, IMO this is the missing piece to an equestrian’s sports performance program. ⁣

🔹 One variable that I work on with every equestrian is 𝘗𝘖𝘞𝘌𝘙 and the absorption of force. ⁣

🔹 This is an trait that often gets overlooked because at first glance you would think this does 𝘕𝘖𝘛 apply to riding. ⁣ 𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐒𝐄𝐓 𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐃𝐀𝐘 ‼️⁣⁣
